Solid Vanes

The solid fabric vanes of Pirouette Shades can close up completely. When closed, the soft fabrics seem to mimic the look of roman shades. These solid vanes can be customized for room darkening, or simply light filtering fabrics. Both offer total privacy when closed. As the vanes are opened, they fold in place. The outdoor landscape is revealed through the sheer backing.

Clearview or Original Sheer Backing

The sheer backing of Pirouette Window Shades is available for two very different experiences. The original version of sheer fabrics diffuses the in-coming light for reduced glare, soft lighting and a hazy view of the outdoors. The Clearview fabric sharpens the view through Pirouette shades for a crisp, defined scene at the window.

Positioning

When in the closed position, you can block levels of light. Depending upon the type fabrics you choose, you can even have blissful room darkening. When the vanes fold in place, you have diffused natural light and a scene at the window. Then, the third position is to roll the shades up into the headrail. They can be lowered to block certain areas of the window, or rolled completely into the headrail for a wide open view.
